After an exciting clash featuring two of the league’s best clubs on Sunday, the Jacksonville Armada FC’s Caleb Patterson-Sewell and Mechack Jérôme have been named to the NASL Team of the Week.

Goalkeeper Caleb Patterson-Sewell’s quick reactions kept the Deltas off the scoreboard throughout a hectic first half. In the 10th minute, a Deltas’ free kick led to a deflection in front resulting in a diving punch from Patterson-Sewell to knock the ball out of play. Minutes later, Patterson-Sewell came up with another huge save on a dangerous ball from Jackson inside the box. In the second half, the Armada FC goalkeeper kept his club tied with a fantastic save from a threatening Heinemann shot.

Mechack Jérôme anchored the Armada FC defense in a physical matchup against the Deltas. The Haitian national led the way defensively with nine clearances Sunday. He proved again to be reliable for coach Mark Lowry, winning four duels in the 1-1 draw.

This is the second Team of the Week honor for Mechack Jérôme and the third for Caleb Patterson-Sewell this year. Both players look to continue their impressive play as the club embarks on a two-game road trip, starting in Puerto Rico on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EST.
