Fullbacks Added to U-23 Roster

Jacksonville Armada FC U-23 continues player announcements, finishing up building the defense with the addition of five fullbacks.

“Our fullbacks are a vital piece to our style. They will offer defensive responsibilities as well as offensive options to get forward and add a variety of attacking movement to bring out the Armada style of play," said head coach Tommy Krizanovic.

Jose Manzo is a redshirt senior at Jacksonville University. He’s made 48 appearances for the Dolphins, including starting all 12 games this season. He made five assists and helped his team to clinch the 2021 Spring ASUN Championship.

Logan Bellone is a sophomore from Ohio Valley University. The defender is originally from Cannes, France and started all eight matches for his team in 2021. He has scored two goals, helping the Fighting Scots to a perfect regular season and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference tournament.

Cole Reasonover is another Dolphin, coming back to the U-23 team after playing in 2019. He appeared five times for JU as a freshman and started 4 out of 9 matches this season as a sophomore.

Nicholas Herb is a MLS NEXT Player with Jacksonville FC. He has five years of experience in the US Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) and was selected for Team Florida All-Stars in the 2018 International Champions Cup – ICC Futures Tournament.

Herbie Steigelman is a sophomore at University of North Florida and also appeared for the Armada FC U-23 in 2019. This season he started 10 games for the Ospreys and racked up 910 minutes. From St. Johns, he played four years with the Jacksonville FC USSDA.

Additional U-23 roster announcements will follow in the coming days. The team kicks off the NPSL season on May 1, on the road against Tallahassee SC.
