Devon Fisher signed with the Jacksonville Armada FC on March 9, 2017. He comes from the Seattle Sounders FC 2 in the USL. The defender signed with the team in their inaugural 2015 season and totaled 1,586 minutes in 26 appearances in 2016 alone.
The Virginia native began his professional career with the Portland Timbers U-23 Premier Development League side in 2014. Fisher totaled 21 regular season appearances and one goal and then moved on to the USL Portland Timbers 2 in 2015. He played only four games with the team before joining S2.
COLLEGE
Fisher played three seasons at Virginia Commonwealth University and earned multiple honors including his naming to the Atlantic 10 Second Team and the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team. He netted 12 goals and made five assists in his 62 appearances with the Rams.
YOUTH/PERSONAL
Fisher grew up in Chesapeake, Va. and had an extensive youth career. He played high school at Indian River High School and earned many honors including All-Virginia Southeastern District Player of the Year and was named to the 2011 Virginia all-state first team.
