CAREER

2018: Signed with Armada FC (4/27)... Received his professional first start against Boca Raton FC (5/12)...

The 22-year-old defender is entering his first season with the Jacksonville Armada. In his transition from collegiate to professional athlete, Vazquez played in the PDL with both GPS Maine and Ogden Outlaws.  

COLLEGE

Vazquez is a recent graduate from Utah Valley University. He played three years for the Wolverines after redshirting his first year. The defender totaled one goal, two assists, and 30 shots with 12 on goal between 2015 and 2017. He held the most minutes on his team his junior and senior year, in which he started every match. In his first match of his senior season he scored the lone goal in a shutout against No. 13 Akron that named him to College Soccer News’ National Team of the Week and TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Team of the Week. 

YOUTH/PERSONAL

Prior to his college and professional start, Vazquez was a member of the Utah ODP team for four years, the Real Salt Lake U-17 team, and La Roca FC in which he helped to the state club championship. He also played one season with PDL side Ogden Outlaws. Vazquez also played soccer at Roy High School, where he was named first team all-state his senior year and also received all-state honors his sophomore and junior years.
