The Jacksonville Armada FC announced Tuesday the 2019 schedule for the U-23 team in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).

The Jacksonville Armada FC U-23 team will play 10 matches total in the NPSL Sunshine Conference. Five matches will occur on the road and five matches at Patton Park. The season will kick off on the road against Miami United FC in Hialeah, Fla., on May 4. The first home match will be May 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Patton Park against 2018 NPSL National Champions, The Miami FC.

All U-23 matches will be free to attend and the complete schedule is available at JacksonvilleArmada.com/u23-schedule. The full 2019 U-23 roster will be available in the coming weeks.

“We are excited to field another team in the NPSL this year. All U-23 matches will feature the same family-friendly excitement as our first team matches. Fans will be able to enjoy inflatable games and food trucks, along with quality play on the pitch lead by Coach Pitchkolan,” said Armada FC President and General Manager Nathan Walter.

The Armada FC announced on Dec. 10 the return of the U-23 team to the NPSL, and the hiatus of the first team. Aaron Pitchkolan was also named the head coach of the U-23 team. More announcements regarding the first team are expected in the coming months.
