Team Announces 2021 U-23 Goalkeepers

Ahead of the Jacksonville Armada FC U-23 season opener on May 1, the team announces its goalkeepers.

 

Dominic Dominguez captains the Jacksonville FC U19 squad. He is an MLS Next player and was the first ever UPSL Division 2 goalkeeper to win the UPSL National Player of the Week. He has committed to play at American University.

 

Brandon Stam is a sophomore from the University of West Florida. He redshirted his freshman season and his school did not play this season due to COVID-19 restrictions. He is a local goalkeeper that came up through U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) at Jacksonville FC and played at The Bolles School.

 

Cameron Braswell is a freshman from Florida Atlantic University returning to the U-23 team from the 2019 roster. He spent four years in the USSDA, where he received MVP with his 2018-19 U17 squad. He also played for the Jacksonville FC Pro Academy.

 

Padraic Gilley is a redshirt junior from University of North Florida, originally from Germantown, Tennessee. In 2019 he had 34 saves and this season he clocked 470 minutes with the Ospreys with seven saves.

 

"We are excited to work with a diverse group of goalkeepers who fit well within our attacking style of play and philosophy. They will will fight for the #1 position day in and day out, while setting a high bar for each other in a competitive environment," said U-23 Head Coach Tommy Krizanovic.

 

The U-23 team opens the season on the road on Saturday, May 1 in the panhandle against Tallahassee SC.
