Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville's 20th Annual Buddy Walk® takes place October 15th.
Oct 6, 2022

The Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville (DSAJ) was founded in 1989 so the Jacksonville community would have a place for support, information and guidance for their loved ones with down syndrome. The DSAJ now helps over 1,500 families and community members across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. The Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville will be hosting its 20th Annual Buddy Walk on October, 15th.

Jacksonville Armada FC is proud to support the Section 904 team in the 20th Annual Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville (DSAJ) Buddy Walk®. Section 904 has put together a fundraising team in support of more than 1,500 families and community members across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia that call DSAJ family.

In preparation for the event, Vice President of Section 904 Daniel Johnson explained why the supporter group decided to join the cause and what it meant to him personally. “One of our core tenants is to be involved in the local community. We know that the DSAJ is an organization that the Armada holds close to their hearts. For me personally, it's always fun for us to get together as a group in the off season. This is a great opportunity to do that and raise money and awareness for such a worthy cause.”

Come join Section 904 at the Jacksonville Beach Seawalk Pavilion Saturday, October 15th at 2pm for the DSAJ Buddy Walk®. If you would like to join Section 904 or make a donation to help them reach their goal, register at the link highlighted here.

The Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville (DSAJ) is a non-profit organization committed to helping people with Down syndrome achieve their full potential and to creating a community that is educated, supportive, and inclusive of individuals with Down syndrome.
